-John Lennon
That quote has so much truth to it
---
"A mature person is one who is does not think only in absolutes, who is able to be objective even when deeply stirred emotionally, who has learned that there is both good and bad in all people and all things, and who walks humbly and deals charitably."
-Eleanor Roosevelt
It's sad seeing so many talented people
act more immature and more ridiculous and more absurd then my 7 year old brother
"Growing up" isn't as literal as many people fear
Being young is a fun thing, and I think many people fear that when they "grow up", they'll lose that sense of childish enjoyment and become a corperate zombie that is so easily seen in many people today
But that isn't always true
You have a choice to stay a fun loving individual
But growing up is what has to happen, and no matter how many people you make fun of or how many words you cleverly misspell, you're never going to be the age you wish you still were solely because you screwed it up the first time
Bragging about how "rad" you are doesn't make you seem cool
Attacking someones personal style doesn't make you look better
You look immature and you resemble a 7th grader with social issues
Grow up, just a little bit
if not for everyone around you, then for yourself
You're never going to be 16 again, so you'd might as well stop acting like it and be the adult you're meant to be.
Just thinking...
